There has been released several books about Kiss collectibles during the years. Some have been good and some have been not quite so good. But the definitive Kiss collectible book had still to be written. Until Ingo Floren's 'Official Price Guide To KISS collectibles' was released in July last year. This was the book all us collectors had been waiting for. The first collectibles book that did much more than scratch the surface. Kiss Army Norway had a little 'chat' with Ingo about his book and himself.

A Norwegian KISS in Hartford 2000

During the winther, you could find many rumours on the internet or in the newspapers about KISS quitting the game. And finally the news came, KISS was going to do a last tour, the Farewell Tour. But the impossible was going to happen; The tour was supposed to just be in America, they were not coming to Norway and Europe!! The thought of never seeing them live one more time was heartbreaking, and I can imagine that we weren`t the only ones sitting late one night drinking some cold beers, dreaming about a last Kiss in America… In this case, it was more than just some foolish talk forgotten next day. It was real for us.

The Kiss Convention in Oslo the 13th of June'95 was a success. Several hours before the Convention hundreds of people was waiting in line outside the entrance door singing famous Kiss tunes and gearing up before the
event. "Rock'n' Roll All Nite..." A lot's of people wear make-up and some people had even made their own Kiss-costumes. A Simmons copy was walking around breathing fire. It was a Kiss party from the beginning to the end. The Convention was complete when Ace decided to jam with the coverband Parasite. It was the only time that he did perform on the hole convention tour. He had not played in Europe since 1988. ACE gave it all and he gave it to us.... We would like to open this spot with a interview that was done for one of the biggest radio station in Norway, NRK P2. The interview was done at Lip Cafe, when Kiss visited Oslo the 11th of June 1992 on their promotion tour for Revenge. The interviews was sent on the radio the same mouth, but the Gene Simmons interview was mighty edited. As I were there together with Steinar Fjeld from NRK, I were lucky enough to take a part in a separate interview with Gene and Paul.
